Staffing agencies as well as large employers are always looking for better ways to manage their candidates. Over the past 10 years there has been a large push towards applicant tracking systems linked to company websites. This has allowed candidate flow to be tracked and easy access to all of their candidates from anywhere within an organization. Although this has greatly improved our efficiency, we’ve discovered this same process is keeping us from attracting candidates. Job seekers, especially the passive, more marketable job seekers simply lack the motivation, time or interest in spending an hour filling out information online.
