1) What are your fears about band practice. if any? What challenges do you think will arise?
I have a lot of fears once we come together as a band. I fear I won’t be at the same level as my band members. I fear that I won’t know two songs by Dec. I fear I will be the weakest link. Some challenges we may encounter might be people playing at different speeds. I think at the beginning we will have to really work hard to be cohesive since we have never played together before.
2) What are the dynamics of your group likely to be like? Will a leader emerge? Will a diva emerge? Will it be you?
I think for the most part we are very grounded individuals. I think we already have a leader and that is Mary Kuhn, our drummer. She is our matriarch and organizer and keeps us on task.
3) Will your band bond for the ages like U2? Take breaks like the E-Street Band? Be tumultuous like Van Halen?
I believe our band will be bonded forever, they will always hold a special rocker place in my heart. We are all going through the same experiences and doubts. We share our stories of struggles and accomplishments already and I know that unifies us in a special way.
4) Will your band set ground rules to make collaboration easier? What will you do if a band member misses practice? Anything else?
I don’t believe we will set ground rules at this point. As long as we continue to communicate and keep things real we should be able to work around schedules and any difficulties that arise.
