Business Phone System and Unified Communications Leader’s Impressive Growth Recognized by Leading Business Publication
SUNNYVALE, Calif., June 26, 2012 – ShoreTel® (NASDAQ; SHOR), the leading provider of brilliantly simple premise and cloud-based business phone system and communication solutions with fully integrated unified communications (UC), today announced that its cloud division, formerly known as M5 Networks, has earned the #20 spot on Crain’s New York Business Fast 50 list.
The Fast 50 was open to privately held companies in the New York City area. Firms had to have at least $20 million in revenues in 2011 to enter. Crain’s ranked them based on revenue growth, as a percentage, from 2008 to 2011. Publicly held companies, real estate investment trusts (REITs), regulated banks, real estate developers, utilities, holding companies, subsidiaries/divisions and franchises are not included in the results. M5 was considered for inclusion based on financial results prior to the acquisition by ShoreTel.
