You know that you are doing something right as a company when your customers get a tattoo of your logo. Just ask Harley Davidson. Their logo makes the list of the top 50 most popular tattoo designs. That’s customer loyalty.
Counting tattoos is only one way to identify companies who are really pleasing their customers. Another, used by both M5 Networks and Harley Davidson, is called the Net Promoter Score. Companies ask their customers just one simple question, “How likely is it that you would recommend us to a friend or colleague?” The results are calculated to generate the Net Promoter Score.
The average company has a score of 15. Not surprisingly, Harley-Davidson leads all companies with a score of 81. Also not surprisingly, the average telecom company has a score of -4. Ouch. Most people don’t like their telecom company. (You probably already knew that.) That’s why we are very proud of our score of 36. We publish our NPS score to our clients in real-time. This is just one reflection of the experience of being an M5 customer. You can learn more about the M5 experience and read what our customers have to say in their own words. I don’t think any have M5 tattoos yet, but we’re working on it.
